What I enjoy most about my living-learning program: I enjoy how my University Honors classes allow me to explore my intellectual curiosity. This allows me to have a more informed perspective on events that have shaped the world in the past and those that are creating the future.
Advice for prospective students about choosing a university or college: Choose the academic institution that will give them the most opportunities to succeed both academically and professionally, while offering an environment that would allow you to express yourself fully. Really take the time to learn about each college/university and definitely speak to people who have/are currently going through that experience at their respective institution.

What I enjoy most about my living-learning program: The friends I made freshman year! I still keep in touch with a lot of people from my floor in Hagerstown, and I'm living with three other UH students this year!
Advice for prospective students about choosing a university or college: If you're someone like me who has a lot of different interests and likes to be involved in lots of organizations, look for schools that have tons of opportunities to get involved! I love UMD because there's something for everyone, and there are so many ways to find community and find like-minded people.

What I enjoy most about my living-learning program: The wide array of professional development opportunities and networking with industry professionals and top-tier companies.
Advice for prospective students about choosing a university or college: It's not so much about where you go rather than what you do. Choose the school that will give you the most opportunities to learn and grow, whether it's personally, socially, or professionally, and take advantage of as much as you can while you're there.
